    Death of Capt Peter Shinn

Just received a letter from RHQ Wrexham on the sad death of Captain Peter Shinn aged 77 years. Many would remember Peter as the Assistant Regimental Secretary before Arthur Ellingham.

Our thoughts go out to June and family From the Shotton and Deeside Branch RWFCA.

Capt Shinn was in post during my service time with 1RWF. He was a gentleman and an outstanding administrator. He always had a smile on his face even when the pressure was on. He will be sorely missed.
May I, on behalf of the Aberystwyth Branch extend our sympathies to his family and close friends.

    Hello all,
Our sympathy goes out to Capt Peter Shinn's family. I had a lot of dealings with him and he was an officer and a gentleman in every meaning of the phrase. He served the RWFCA with compassion and humour during his term of office. He will be sorely mised not least by the Bridgend and District branch. R.I.P Peter.
In deepest sympathy R.B.Donovan.pp Bridgend & District Branch R.W.F.C.A.
