LofF Dinner 2013
Good Morning everyone, I have now fully recovered from the weekend and would like to thank everyone who attended foe their part in making the weekend such a good one, it was nice to see some old faces back.
Date for your diary, Saturday 10th May 2014 for next years dinner, there will be an AGM on Sat at 1500hrs, can you please make every effort to attend as there is some very important issues to discuss, of course details will be sent out with an invitation to attend closer to the date.
If anyone has any photo's they took, it might be nice to put them on the forum for all to see.
There has all so been a slight change in the eligibility for joining, as you are all aware the rules were changed a couple of years ago so that Bn Members who had been posted out where ever that may be including TA's as a Cpl and had been promoted to Sgt would be eligible to join the LofF, we have had a request from an Ex Cpl who became an Adult Instructor with the ACF who is now a Sgt to see if he would be eligible, it was put to the committee and they agreed that it could come under the same change as the previous one. If there are any forum members who come under any of the above changes please contact me and I will send you out the paperwork.
Once again, thank you to everyone who attend, just a thought, if everyone who attended this year manages to bring a member who has not been then we can double the numbers sitting for Dinner, just a thought.

Re: LofF Dinner 2013
Hello Martin,
Many thanks for sorting my seat out etc for the evening meal. I have trouble getting out of a seat that does not have arm rests unfortunately but the guests at my table helped out. Sorry I went to the function on the spur of the moment not entirely fair on you and the members who done the preparation of the function room and all the organisation which made the evening such a success. My thanks to all my former comrades who I have not seen in many a year. Plus of course Col Alun Phillips and Carol who saw me home safe and dry to my front door. They got me home 40 minutes before my first leg of the journey home from the venue(Swansea to Bridgend ) even started my ETA in Bridgend would have been 16-58 hours.. Many thanks to you both plus of course the most interesting conversations we had on this journey to Bridgend. In conclusion Martin and all the helpers are to be congratulated for a magnificent evening.
Regards Brian aka jungle1810
