Susan Reynolds - mugged in Thailand

Anybody else get an email from this person who reports that her family has been mugged and they all need money to get home to Wales?

Do we know her?

Don't think it would be sensible to respond to the email address she gives?

Yer its a well know scan been used world wide, in Brasil I recall they told the parents of a guy that he had been injured and was in Hospital and needed funds ASP to pay for there treatment, a total span they just managed to get this guys E Mail address details from a dodgy internet Cafe I think

This one was unusual in that the spelling and syntax was quite good. Even the email address could have been described as legitimate (they are usually a lot more obscure!) because anybody who responded and was scammed could pursue the originator through aol.com.

No problem, just hope nobody responds.

(Brian Bloor rang to tell me Paul Butt had the email, so I'm assuming it's been sent to the world and his wife. Obviously you'll know that the rwfcomrades@aol.com address is legit, but I can promise you there's nothing in my sent box - and I might have tears in my eyes because I'm stuck in work in Wrexham but not because I got mugged in Manila.

Guys, its coming from the rwfcomrades@aol.com address. Hence the reason the thread has appeared on here. I would ask someone phones Des. I think the email address is used at HQ Wrexham

Dear Susan Got yer e-mail Sorry to hear of your plight. Understand Thai jails quite warm and compfry. Trouble is we`re a bit skint here in essex so had to bin your request along with the rest. If you start walking now shouldn`t be to long. Chin up
