I have just read on the other Site that Major Bob Smith, RRW, ex OC Div RO has passed away. I always found him to be a real Gentleman and easy to talk to. He will be sorely missed. Condolences to Major Bobs family from all at the Denbigh and District Branch the Royal Welch Fusiliers. RIP Maj Bob. Braz

I am very sad to hear the news about Major Bob Smith.He was an amazing character,you only have to read his book Khaki Shorts to see what a true friend and old school officer he was. He was highly respected and very popular with all ranks he had many friends in all the former Welsh Bde Regiments.He will be sorely missed.RIP Bob.
