We have just been notified that Peter Jones, the President of Colwyn Bay branch RWFCA, passed away yesterday.

Ww will pass on the funeral details when received.

Sorry to hear that. Pete (father of Phil "Jinx" Jones 38) was a regular visitor to the Sgts Mess during the early 90's in Berlin, many of us enjoyed a beer with him. Deepest sympathy to Phil and his family.

So sorry to hear about Peter's pssassing always a smile and a willing help if one needed it. A big loss to the Comrades of the Bay. Our thoughts are with Peter's family at this sad time. RIP old friend from all comrades from Aberystwyth.

What a great guy Pete was my CSM during my time in the TA in the Bay always looked up to Pete, a very fair man was very much respected by us Rhyl Lads we loved his expression "Cut the cackle" so sad the hear Pete has passed away he will be missed by all who knew him, condolences to Jinx and the family at this sad time - A true Bay legend RIP Pete

As a former secretary of the Colwyn Bay Branch I wish to pass on my condolences to Marj and Jinx 38 at this grim time ... a sad loss to the 23rd ... for those of you that did'nt know Pete, cut him and he bled Royal Welch, he was never happier than in the company of Fusiliers, and will be fondly remembered by all in Colwyn Bay that were fortunate to know him and call him a friend ...
