Oops! Yes, of course it was Fanling. One of the watering holes was "The Better 'Ole Bar and Restaurant in Fanling. And who could forget Lo Wu and Sha Tau Kok, (or was it Sahtaukok) Police Station

Couldn't find The Better Ole, the whole area now (then?) consisted of huge hi-rise blocks of flats and flyover motorways.

If I remember correctly, there used to be a Chinese gentleman that arrived on his bike in Fanling some time during the evening accompanied by a woman. It was, I believe, some kind of mobile service...but that's another story!
