Warts off.
Having spent a few bob on "over the counter" wart remover for a small but irritating wart on my thumb (which failed miserably), I went to the Doc for proper treatment. I was amazed when he told me "we dont have a lot of luck with removing warts with freezing etc" then told me to cover the said wart with Gaffer tape, leave it covered for 6 1/2 days leave uncovered for half a day then re-apply for a further 6 1/2 days. I thought he had lost the plot but tried it anyway and sure enough some days after the final removal the wart broke up and fell away.
I wonder how these pharmaceutical companies get away with their fancy freezing treatments etc.
Apologies if teaching granny to suck eggs, but as they say in Tesco.....every little helps.

If I can help somebody as I pass along, my living will not be in vain.

Re: Warts off.
What worked a treat for me was. get a match(not safety) wet the end and rub it gently into the wart, gone in no time.

Re: Warts off.
I second that Steve the match worked for me also.
