Re: Mac Gittings
Another very sad loss. I remember spending some very pleasurable evenings in Mac's company in the NAAFI (Cpls Mess) in Gun Club Barracks, Hong Kong. He was a very good friend. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. RIP mate.

Re: Mac Gittings
‘Mac’ and I served together in the Signals Platoon in Minden and Honiton. He was the consummate professional, diligent and hard working. He also had a wicked sense of humour, which you could always tell was near the surface by the tiniest of grins and a glint in his eye.
My life is richer for having known him. His demise is a great loss to me and to our entire community. His family has every right to be proud of him, not only for his service to his country, but as a Royal Welchman extraordinaire.
Our heartfelt condolences are with Sharyn, Darryl, Nicola and Donna. I cannot begin to imagine the pain they are feeling, but the thoughts and prayers of the whole forum are with them at this most difficult time.”
