Re: Brig Charles Hince
Brig Charles's Daughter Susan emailed me early today ref the passing of her Father. Brig Charles was a staunch and generous member of the London Branch RWFCA. Recent Ill health, however, resulted in his inabilty to attend most meetings and functions. Nevertheless, he regularly kept abreast of RWFCA matters, albeit through email and phone.
I have today forwarded a message of condolence, through his Daughter Susan, to the family and friends on behalf of London Branch RWFCA.

Re: Brig Charles Hince
He was a WFR officer who was appointed CO of 1 RWF for the Hong Kong tour and then he handed over to Lt Col G D Inkin who was CO for the Londonderry tour. I will never forget how he would come into Bn HQ in the evenings when I was Duty Clerk and he would give me tape recordings of lectures and study days from his days at SofI and Staff College which he wanted transcribed onto paper. That's how I learned to become quite proficient as an audio typist. Spent many hours doing that for him.
RIP Sir.
