Comrades weekend

I'm sorry or I have missed something ? is it on another page ?? I haven't seen one mention of the weekend or any pics yet anyway I had a great time, especially bumping into the guys from 11 & 12pl who were with me in the mid 80s especially down The Falklands .

I agree Richie, but give the budding paparazzi a bit of time to recover, great weekend as always, although i did miss some old friends!!

You're right guys. I attended for the first time in 5 years and had a brill time. I also attended the Comrades AGM, so I could see and hear what was going on, after living in a vacuum for a few years. I think the bottom line is, there's been so much negativity about the politics within the RWFCA over the years that all the other stuff has been pushed to one side. Also Facebook has picked up speed, so a lot of stuff is being reported on that website. Personally I had an excellent time, I enjoyed the meeting, if only to admire retired RWF Officers stepping into the breach. The bits either side, in the bars of Wrexham was fantastic. If you've never attended....do it before its to late.

RWFCA Members can be assured that the newly appointed Trusties are already at work preparing the recommendations documents . At the Trusties Training day on Tue 2^nd Oct 12 all documents will be discuss in detail and amend if necessary. By mid Oct 12, the agreed draft documents will be submitted to all RWFCA Branches for input. Having incorporate Branch comments, the final recommendations documents being in place by 30 Nov 12.
