That's what I heard. The 1st will go, the 2nd (which has an armoured role) will become the new 1st.

We no longer need such a large Army...............we do however need 5 Battalions of service personnel to cover security for the Olympic Games. Even the thickest of thick skinned Politician and "associate military advisors" must be feeling pretty stupid right now. Wake up call number one already Mr Cameron.

So the government don't want to keep the Senior Welch Regiment or rename it the 1st Royal Welch Fusiliers. Well in that case i think they should make cuts to the Government and Disspand some of the Political Parties and then see if it causes any mayhem.

    Another quote from FB.
    Dear Serving Soldier,
I appreciate that you may be a bit busy at the moment, but just before I give you the sack would you mind awfully helping out at a small sporting event we are holding in London this month. You see I have just spent £475,000,000 on a private firm to do the security but they trousered the money and cannot commit. I have managed to wangle an old warehouse for your accommodation & some rat packs for food, but you should be used to that by now.(Gotta keep the cost down L.O.L). Many thanks David Cameron. P.S. Your my favourites ..
