It appears that Sky News have joined the forum in advance of the announcement of tomorrows army cuts. Membername: skynewswebster

If you look at the Sky News website you'll see why. Let's hope they are wrong but if they are not it's an appalling kick in the pants by the Army Board who will have let Wales, a nation that has provided soldiers for the UK out of all proportion to its population, down.

Better be glad you're not in the Euro zone, or you wouldn't have any army left by now. The Dutch army is trying to flog all its tanks so the politicians can pay the pensions of the Greeks. What a world.

Alas, not as funny as you (and I) would like, John. Soon after the Greeks received their first bailout they placed a large order for, yes, wait for it, wait for it... tanks. This downfall of the Euro, down a bottomless pit, is bloody serious business.
