Drums Reunion 2012
May I start with thanking Alun & Lyn Davies, for their presence and agreeing to be our guest of honor, to the corps of Drums 3 Royal Welsh and the Castle Hotel Neath for their hospitality and great venue againand most importantly you the guests and invited guests .. another good turnout again on the Friday night and a full turnout Saturday, the night started with the usual speeches followed by the Corps of Drums stealing the show with the Drums display, and leek eating party. Alun Davies 46 started loving cup and Mike Cornish attempted to finish it of but was unsucesseful.
The night carried on with the usual buffet, raffle, and Heads & Tails new game introduced to get everyone involved. With the last two people standing Lee, Nick Sigallias partner and Steve Bailey's wife (radar) Carol, who became the eventual winner. I know you all want to wish Billy Humphries a speedy recovery. so get well soon mate. Hope to see you all again soon.

Re: Drums Reunion 2012
Hi Ric (All)
The first thing I will say is, the Drums reunions are getting better every year, looking forward to next years already, start planning Mac as you have a excellent standard to maintain as I'm sure you will, this year was again very well attended almost 100% as per the attendees list and thanks to everyone for that, as Led has said a special mention to the old and bold Band members that were there, nice to see you again lads, and I'm sure I speak for all Drummers that if there are other Band members from the past out there reading this Thread you will be more than welcome to the Drums reunion anytime, nice to see some Drummers (D&D included) there that I haven't seen for a long time, and on a personal note it was so nice to see Radar / Steve and Carol after 30+ years only wish I had managed to come up on the Friday night now, as me Anne would of had more time to chat with everybody.
Not heard how Humph is, but I'm assuming that no news is good news in this case, again I wish him a speedy recovery.
A massive thank you to Ric for doing all the ground work and running the evening so well, and not forgetting to thank Spud for over seeing as he dose so well, and Allen & Lyn for attending thank you.
Steve & Anne (Guvs)

Re: Drums Reunion 2012
Well Said Steve and Led, even though its a Drums reunion if you are in the area pop in and say hello , guest are always welcome. However if you are intending on poping in just drop me or Mac a line or telephone so we know who is attending for numbers. no matter what platoon or company you were in. Billy Humph is now home and converlesing and on the sick for a fortnight. Well he as stated that he will just have to sit back and watch the Masters.
