I went to a pub in Toronto called "Scallywags" and it was full of Welsh scallywags with a splattering of English, Irish and Scots. I thought it was a very entertaining game with outstanding defense by both sides. The ankle tap (tap tackle) which took out GN was one of my favourite tackles and timing is essential. It was a great tackle that probably saved a try and Sam W's tackle around the ankles of the English centre certainly saved a try. I'm just grateful that most of the Six Nations sides seem to be willing to run a lot more than they used to and this includes the English team.
The Northern Hemisphere sides are getting much bigger and better, in my opinion, and are now much closer to the Southern Hemisphere teams than they have been for many a year.
By the way Gwyn I also had the looks. lol

"Bickering" or just harmless banter and a difference of opinions....depends on how you view the thread. At least the thread has some response and some form of discussion going on. I am truly at a loss at what people want or expect from this forum and the members who try at least to make something of it. One minute it is a "Clique" because it is the same people contributing all of the time, now its "bickering" because there is disagreement and a bit of harmless banter on the side.

Perhaps when a thread is posted it should be Sterile and Factual Ie. WALES WON - ENGLAND LOST- this thread is now closed! A bit more like a well informed results page rather than a Forum for General discussion.

Is it worth putting a thread up saying "Can Wales win the Slam" and find out the opinions and thoughts of members or would that be a little too radical, un-pc (is that a word/term) or even thought provoking for some. Either way I think I'll pass on that one.
If I can help somebody as I pass along, my living will not be in vain.

As a expert exponent of the art of rugby(Griffiths Cup highest try scorer 1983.....Like Barry John I then retired)!!!! I thought it was good match. The score could have gone either way. Certainly Wales supporters shouldn't start thinking they are now masters of the universe. I wasn't overlay impressed by Priestland, I wonder about his confidence. Wasn't he the guy who had problems kicking during the previous match?
