Re: EDNGLAND v WALES
I think Dai is watching a different game to the rest of us and certainly has a different idea of what is good Rugby. England at the moment have the least amount of trys scored in the Six Nations with Two. Halfpenny is the leading points scorer...so far. Points for and against give Wales +23 France +24 Ireland + 30 and England (ahead of Scotland and Italy) at....+4. It is easy to say that a player or players are easy to defend against but if a team cannot then turn that defence into a point scoring attack, it's just good defence and is reliant on kicking from ill disciplne and errors from the opposing team ie living off scraps. That for me pretty much sums up the way England have played this championship. (given an improvement against Wales apart from losing points instead of pressing home an advantage.) Three matches played, man of the match three times....A Welsh player.
If I can help somebody as I pass along, my living will not be in vain.

Re: EDNGLAND v WALES
The winning try was sweet! The ball bounced three times, twice forwards and once back, right in to Scott Williams' hands. Was that lucky? Would he have got it had it bounced forwards again? WHO CARES!!
Watch again, from 2.08 in. The gaining of possession was not luck; Scott Williams' imagination/split second decision to kick instead of run or pass was not luck, that imagination/decision won the game. (Check out Tom Jones at 3:05)

Re: EDNGLAND v WALES
Dai you may very well have played the game many times and to a standard that YOU consider to be good that does not however make you an expert. Of course you are entitled to your opinion as are we all but you will insist on making it as a "statement " which has no factual backing or substance. ie Priestland is rubbish. Try - Priestland is rubbish in my opinion. Incidently if you were good ....and remember i saw you play......Den Willliams 27, Jim Brown, Dilwyn Thomas, Nick Ravenhill, were 1st class. (in my opinion) I myself was a very poor player but you cant have looks and skill all the time can you.

Re: EDNGLAND v WALES
Jonathan Davies is an Ex-International and reckoned Wales would hammer England...........he was wrong as well. Guscott reckons England have the game to beat France - ho ho ho.........that I really do have to see. The point is, the fact that you played the game at any level does not reinforce your opinion over facts no matter how hard the trumpet is blown.
My apologies for not mentioning Chris Campbell and Peter "Charlie" Fenton earlier.

Re: EDNGLAND v WALES
all my opinion Gwyn and you certainly would not change them,Preistland and Halfpenny are both good players or they would not be were they are today, but Halfpenny takes to many chances in own 22 and as seen Saturday was caught a few times and got away with it,Preistland was shocking full stop,i thought England were unlucky to lose again my opinion Farrel was outstanding and causeing us big problems when he went of the game changed Englands ball was slowed down it was certainly a big factor in the game still we go forward and hopefully win Grand slam
