    EDNGLAND v WALES

Well the day has arrived for the clash with the old enemy at Twickenham. There has been plenty of speculation about the English team but not a great deal about the Welsh boys. Todays game is very special to us, cause if we win, we take the "TRIPLE CROWN", and this will be the first time since 2008 that we would have won it. Good luck to the boys in red and hope to see you going down the M4 tommorrow with the 6 Nations Trophy.

Saw the game...tacky to be honest.
England have a good team, youngsters that are not afraid of names.
Wales I think need to keep hold of the ball more rather than kick kick kick.
great that we won the triple crown,on its way down the m4 soon Rog.

England played very well but let’s be honest Wales went in as favourites so England had nothing to lose even if they had been hammered. Wales were vastly better against South Africa and France in the World Cup and lost. For far too long we have been gallant losers so if we win ugly or by a bit of luck I will take that, for me what mattered most was the result. All that said the Scott Williams try was outstanding and worthy of the winning score.

Must admit England played very well and if Farrel would have kicked that penalty under the post and made it 15 - 9 WE WOULD HAVE LOST Farrel deserved man of the match but a win is a win George North must learn to side step he is to easy to defend against same thing all the time try and go through players Preistland is rubbish and must be dropped

Too much credit fo England I fancy. Yes they improved by a huge margin but they didn't have to do that much to make that statement correct. Farrel was good no doubt about it, but Halfpenny also missed kicks. You can debate Ifs and buts all day long but the fact is, Wales yet again went down to 14 men, Brian Moore commented the average of a ten point loss for a yellow card period yet, England went down three points instead of taking the advantage. To say that any team played well who lose points in a period of playing 14 men frankly baffles me. It was Wales who played well or as Gatland put it "played better with 14 than they were with 15".

Priestland had a mare fair play but to say he is rubbish is laughable, when he is so highly rated in the Rugby world. For me he is no Stephen Jones....yet but he has more about him than Hook (in my opinion). Much has been said about the youth of the New England but let's not forget that this Welsh squad is not exactly full of "old war horses" they are still learning and still have improvement in them.
If I can help somebody as I pass along, my living will not be in vain.

I agree with Gwyn. England went out there to stop Wal;es playing and for 60 mins did a pretty good job. A very interesting style of defence by England but fairly effective. Priestland wasn't allowed to have a good game and I would suggest that the game plan was to kick and try and break up the solid defence England put up because our big guns did have a very hard time penetrating their defence with battering runs. Wales must not be forgotten in the defence stakes they gave their all for the cause and reaped the reward. The All Blacks have learnt to win ugly and now Wales have as well.......WELL DONE LADS you did the Nation proud roll on a week Saturday and Italy followed by perhaps a Grand Slam decider against France to end the 6 Nations.

Sorry Paul but how often do you see the all blacks win ugly not often British teams do all the time and i dont think Wales won ugly they came up against a very well organised team who played very well never rated Preistland and Halfpenny tries to run out of 22 all the time george North as i said to easy to defend against we actually won the game with a kick that bounced well with luck or were you watching a different game

    Re: EDNGLAND v WALES

I would hate to read the posts if Wales had lost, just enjoy the win lads,,Wales have got the best squad of players at their disposal so there is not much to choose from unfortunately as Wales as a rugby country is not swimming with world class players, and to say Preistland and Halfpenny are not up to the standard is laughable.i suppose when we win the grand slam people will be calling for Gatlands head
everyday i wake up i thank the lord i,m welsh
