gsm ni

hi all, to my shame i have just found my gsm ni,
after god know's how many years needless to
it is badly tarnished, now are they silver or
silverplate i don't want to start polishing it and
damage it any cleaning advise would be much
appreciated thank you.

Silver Dip and a very soft cloth. Less abrassive than brass cleaner. Cotton bud for the awkward bits. Do it gradually rather than rubbing too hard on first attempt will avoid damage to the surface.
