David Smith ( Merthyr Tydfil)
Hello All
I have just been informed of the demise of David Smith (Merthyr Tydfil Branch) He was in his 90's on his death. He fought in the Spanish Civil war (International Brigade) her was actively engaged in gun running, sabotage and many other clandestine actions. He joined the R.W.F. at the out break of world war 2. He also served in the commandos, and was at the landing of the Anzio beach head. may he rest in peace

A lost breed. His early life sounds like an adventure from "Boys Own". Deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
