    New Year's Resolutions - 2012

What is New Years Resolution going to be for 2012? For myself, I don't usually make them, but if I did, it would be to lose weight!

Yep I'm with Bob on this one. I need to shed some weight (Doctors orders) and whilst doing that if I could fine that little bit of inspiration to make my fortune that would be helpful. Blewddyn Newydd Dda/Happy New Year to everyone!

    Re: New Year's Resolutions - 2012

I tell you what I did .. I joined Slimming World, & lost just over 2 stone, some of it goes back on now & again, there's no counting anything & within reason you can eat what you want, the groups are great & help keep you in line.. I've got mine out walking & I want to get a good crowd from groups around Wrexham up Snowdon this year.
It's £4.95 a week with a good planning pack, web site etc. when you reach "The target You Chose" & remain 3 pounds either side it's free & you can change your target when you want.
Weight Watchers are having a big push in the new year, believe me Slimming World well out do them with many ex Weight Watchers in the groups. (No I'm not on commission) give it a try. I've tried doing it on my own, just can't do it.

    Re: New Year's Resolutions - 2012

Well, it looks like most of us want to make time for exercise, shed the pounds, quit smoking and enjoy life more!

No one seems to want to decrease their gadget use or stop drinking! Good luck everyone with your resolutions

    Re: New Year's Resolutions - 2012

For those whose New Year's Resolutions was to lose weight I recommend the BAD COLD / STINKING FLU DIET. I have been trying to shake a flu for almost three weeks.Amongest other things I have suffered a serious loss of appetite basically I feel like s*** so resorted to things like Complan just to get some energy in me. My normal weight is around 12.8 jumped on the scales today my weight has dropped to 11.7. The long haired general (Mrs John) is also suffering, so Xmas was not the best we have had. Never mind, once we are fit I am going to pig out on favourites like Faggots & Peas and Fish & Chips and we are going to get the family back for a belated Xmas dinner.
