HI all, Sue in Wrexham RHQ has asked me to post this so that we can help a comrade whom has not got access to the INTERNET and Forum at moment.
He is ex Fusilier N Davis 22915376, his details are, he started in 1953 and did his 10 week basic in the Depot in Wrexham he then was posted to Luna burg barracks.
His Cpl were Sam Jones and Donovan , he is asking if any members can help him trace the platoon photo taken at the end of his training, cheers Val.

To the best of my knowledge I trained two platoons in Wrexham with Sam Jones 34 and myself, Sjt Trimble was the Sjt coincidentally. the photos are on my web site and can be down loaded if he does not have a computer this may be done in most libraries with guidance from the staff. I think his number may be wrong, 229 (???) I joined on the 10/10 50 my number started with 225!!!! this seems a high start number for 52/53 There are other photos of recruits that I trained which include Sjt Ernie Wilcox Sjt MacCormack.Sjt Hanks was also a PRI in this era, we also had Cpl Hack and Cpl Geordie Hardcastle. as well as Cpl Wally Jones (Ex SWB) Cpl Burgess.

I am sorry to say I misspelt your domain name.in the e mail about the platoon pic. Idleness is no good unless carried out properly.I will be more careful in future sorry.It appears the pictures have been down loaded and are being edited and should reach Fus Davies soon.
