Mr Ron Thomas
We are sorry to inform you that Ron Thomas, a former member of Wrexham Branch, and a Burma Star veteran, died at home on Sat 29 Oct. His funeral service will take place on Thur 10 Nov, at 1.30, at Wrexham Crematorium, Pentrebychan LL14 4EP.

4203925 Cpl R Thomas served with 2Bn in Assam and Burma 1943 - 1945. He was involved in every attack the battalion made. His war ended when he was wounded on the crossing of the Irraweaddy River at Ngazum, near Mandalay, on the night of 24/25 Feb 1945. He was taken to a forward field hospital and then back to UK through India.
