    Reunion Thread

Even though Bob has closed the thread Reunion,it is a topic that will not go away until after the AGM i would have liked to see the thread stay open, but we will have to just start another until we have the answers,

    Re: Reunion Thread

    Dai,

I have moved your post because it had nothing to do with Paul’s original thread http://rwf-forum.co.uk/vBulletin/sho...?13840-wrexham

I’ve already said that I am sure that all possible discussion on the subject hasn't yet been exhausted; however, some members, including the originator of the thread were asking for it to be closed. In addition, through this forum, the hierarchy are now very aware of the disagreements and line of reasoning, both for and against by members.

All being well, those attending the AGM will be more factually informed about the situation and we will be provided with a copy of the minutes, with permission to post here in the forum. After that, we can deliberate and discuss this issue and the ramifications, if any, in a new thread.

unfair mate. You post has been moved not deleted, with an explanation for doing so. If anyone wishes to continue the debate as a new post you are welcome to do so. I see no problem with that. We have had an answer from Roddy Porter and we wont know any more until after the AGM aside from rumour and supposition. On a small point of order, 1 person liked the post the other "same old people" thanked for the post, there is a difference. As a matter of fact it is what I expect, as it is the "same old people" who generally get involved with debates on this forum yourself included. Perhaps you would like a little more anarchy and riots on the forum.(TIC)

    Re: Reunion Thread

    Dai,

Like everone else your contributions are invaluable and appreciated. It took some time but we did get a response from Gen Porter, and I believe he gave us the response we were after. That is why I was sure the thread had run its course, as Nick says the thread is not dead, i'ts just asleep let's see what comes next saturday week.
    regards

Tony and Gwyn are absolutely correct. I've also had assurances that a transcript of the AGM's discussions and resolution on this matter will be posted on this site for all to see.

I know some people have issues with branch membership but it's the best and quickest way of disseminating information and getting feedback...it also acts as a barometer of membership and the health of the Association. I know it's difficult for people to attend every meeting but those of us privileged enough to be branch secretaries can help all members be as active as they wish to be, I have branch members from North Wales to Bury (Lancs) to South Wales so being remote from a branch doesn't mean you're forgotten and it's those branches that can keep you in the loop and nurture the camaraderie that is special in the Royal Welch.

6 days and 22 hrs from this post we will have it from the horse’s mouth, so to speak, and I hope we can all move on and enjoy the comradeship we cherish so much!
