Hello,
I can only echo the sentiments of 72 thank God this bad month for the R.W.F.C.A. is over. I worked with Bill on the executive committee, and found him to be a deep thinking man and a credit to both the R.W.F.C.A. and the executive committee. Rest in Peace William.

Re: Mr WH Evans
Dear All,
Family and friends gathered at “Thornton Garden of Rest Crematorium” at 1120hrs today Monday 4th July 11 to accompany Bill Evans on his final journey. Bill had served with the 2nd Bn RWF in Burma in WW2, Comrades would remember Bill as the secretary of the Liverpool Branch and served on the Executive committees for may years, he was a regular attended at the Comrades Annual Reunion. The “Burma Star Association” was very much in evidence.
