Re: Terry Pope
Sorry to hear Terry is losing his fight with Cancer, my thoughts are with Terry and his Family, last saw Terry at the Red Dragon St Davids dinner in 2009, He was in good health there singing along with the French Team by the bar, Terry a character and an half a true D Coy boy.

Re: Terry Pope
In as much as I enjoy logging on to the forum, updating me with all the geographical goings on plus enjoying the banter, there is the occasional thread that hits us hard when we hear of the plight of one our comrades - this is such a thread!
Words don't mean much at such a trying time but it is hoped that Terry and his family will realise a little comfort from the messages that have been placed on the forum from his regimental chums. Indeed, off the forum and once the news has found it's way around the Regimental curcuit, there will probably be an abundance of concerned messages for both Terry and his Family.
Very sad news,

Re: Terry Pope
Sad news indeed.
I often bumped into Terry in the early nineties when I first moved back home to the Rhondda.
We would usually chat and have a laugh over a pint he could make you laugh no matter how low you were feeling.
Terry thinking of you and your family.

Re: Terry Pope
Very sorry to hear about Terry, he was one of the first that I met when I joined the Bn (Deltas) in Warminster, what a character. My thoughts are with him and his family.
