looking for information on the Gullis Family
hello all
i am doing a family tree i am looking to see if anybody knew the gullis family from pontypool gwent
william john was my grandfather
& his brothers elwyn & james
also my other side of the family is evans & cox but think i will pass on that one as name is to common
thats all info i have
my grandfather worked in mine in 1960 + which one i dont know but had a accident & lost all his fingers on his left hand
i know this is a long shot but worth asking ...so if anyone has any info links or anything please reply

Which one of the family members do you believe served with the Royal Welch, and do you have a rough idea of when?

i think it was james
i know he died in 1977 or 1979 in hereford
i think my grandfather was in army in ww2 but not 100% sure

No mention of any Gullis in Regimental records 1946-2000. How old was James when he died?

i am not 100% sure
60 years +

might have been home guards unfornutaly there is no one to ask as they have all passed on

So he would have been 20 in about 1937. I would suggest you need to obtain their birthdates. Do you live in the pontypool area? If you do, there should be a local records office, where you can search through parish records?
