We are sorry to report the death of Major John Felix Richards.

A non religious funeral ceremony will be held on Monday 10th January at 1.30 pm. at Wrexham New Cemetary, Plas Acton Road, Pandy. LL11 2UB.

Refreshments afterwards at Rossett Hall Hotel.

I met Maj JF Richards at the unveiling of the Truce Memorial on Armistice Day 2008. A most remarkable man, and a great loss to the Regiment. May he rest in peace. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Hello all,
Like Doctor John Krijnen I met Major John Felix Richards on the truce trip. We shared some rum that was produced on the battle field tour the day before the truce celebrations. He was a truly wonderful "Loveable rogue" as the saying goes.I had a lot of fun on this trip with John and I spoke to him on last years AGM in Wrexham. May he rest in peace.The Bridgend Branch offer their sympathy to all John's family and friends both inside and outside the regiment. They broke the mould when he was born.
