    Re: Chelsea Pensioners robbed

It is a sad time when people take advantage of the Chelsea Pensioners; men who have served their country.

    Hi,

To echo comments already posted, and add my own condemnation, what a despicable act - makes you wonder what sort of a sick society we are living in.

For those who have never visited the Royal Hospital, it's the epitomy of service nostalgia.

Our London Branch RWFCA hold our meetings there, in addition to social functions such as St David's Day and Xmas Buffet Lunch, when we are affectionatly received and made to feel at home.

Let's hope that the vermin who carried out this crime are caught and appropriately dealt with. Sadly, however, we all know this won't be the case and some do good defence lawyer will plead for a slap on the wrist and the Chelsea Pensioner Club will have to suffer a potential loss of the days takings in the region of £6000!

If caught should be Publicly Humiliated, i.e Made to Wear a Pink Boiler Suit and go around doing all the undesirable tasks that need doing. Like the yanks d to their chain gangs. If I was in charge I'd put the buggers in Stocks so people could bung eggs etc at them. S C U M Braz

I agree - total scum, but you have to realise that this scum have no scruples, it's just money, we have a collection box for a local hospice for terminally ill children, we were burgled for it once and it got snatched from under our noses another time.

    From the link above ....

"You cannot go to a bank on a Sunday night. If somebody was going to do it at any time the end of the weekend of remembrance is a good one."

Old soldiers forgot the six 'P's I'm afraid - the safe should have been full of turds! They'll learn from their mistakes though, but unfortunately the scum are just as clever, or even more so, because they are also desperate.
Working for yourself is great, not only can you work half days, you can choose which 12 hours!
