    Mostyn Venables

    Hello all,
It is with a sense of deep regret that I have to announce the death of Mostyn Venables of the Merthyr Tydfil Branch. Derek Singer phoned me today to let me know Mostyn passed away in hospital this afternoon. I will be notified of the funeral arrangements asap. Mostyn and I were in the same training platoon in Brecon in 1950. Bridgend branch of the R.W.F.C.A, offer their condolences to all his family and friends as well as his comrades in the Merthyr branch. R.I.P Mostyn.
    R.B.D.

    Hello Dai 72 and Hingey,
Re 72's thread number 2 on the inordinate number of comrades who have passed away recently. I offer the following quote it deals with the death of mankind and comrades of the PBI alike.
"No man is an island, entire of itself:every man is a piece of the Continent,a part of the main:if a clod be washed away by the sea,Europe is the less,as well as if a promontory were,as well as if a manor of of thy friends , or thine own were: I am involved in mankind; And there fore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee".
By John Donne English ecclesiastc and poet. 1572 -1631.
