Contact with Old Friends

All comments have been read and appreciated. My point was that one of the original comments was by a gentleman who served 3 years (which in itself is as short as you can do) and the other gentleman was a bandsman. My point being gentleman 1 was in for a really short time therefore would not really know anyone and gentleman 2 was a member of a small group of men who operated outside the Battalions regular duties. The rugby thing is neither here nor there. Ultimately what I am trying to say is that you both have every right to call on old comrades to join us all in September, my point is you both, I would assume have a smaller circle of friends than a Battalion member who served his his full term and experienced a time in each or most of the Battalions Companies. No offence was intended and the first beer is on me.

I never operated outside the Battalion, I always integrated and that's why like many others I have a huge cross-section of friends from within the family of the Regiment!
