thanks to Al Pool i got my medals back that some one was selling, they had been stolen from my room when we where in Warminster, those of you that can remember this was the friday before i got married, they also stole all the money to pay for the wedding, but that is another storey, again thanks to al Pool, i got mine back.

Buster Crabbs medals sold at 127 £.
Fusilier Murrays service number indicate an enlistment around 1977, +/- 1 year.
Perhaps it is of interest to list recent medals on ebay or dealers lists here ? If so I´ll keep a look out and come back to this thread. But if you prefer otherwise I'll abstain.

I was a 2446 and joined in Sept 77. I would think Murrey is at least 1975, if he served on the 1976 tour of Belfast. Just a marker.....

That would be about right.
jock murray joined the btn in Tidworth 76.
he was in the same room as me and paul butt.
and did go with us to the turf lodge.
