    Re: Breakfast

Just as the picture depicts Bob. However....................I get a bowl of Bran flakes/All Bran/ raisin mix with skimmed milk. Not quite the same but on the rare occasion I do get a Full English, I swear it tastes so much better than if I ate it on a regular basis.
If I can help somebody as I pass along, my living will not be in vain.

I'm like Gwyn but it's usually weetabix or shreaded wheat with low fat yoguart and an apple , bananna or pear cut up with it.
But when I'm away I do over indulge in a full fry-up!

    Re: Breakfast

Normally I skip it, which I know is wrong, it should be the most important meal of the day....... Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince, Dinner like a Pauper.

But that just doesn't work in today's society - if we ate as we really should - i.e. fuel yourself up for the day and then just top up after, instead of skimping at the start of the day and then stuffing yourself in the evening and going to bed leaving your digestive system to cope with a meal that lies in your gut like a twenty stone whore in a hammock ........

..... well - 'Going out for dinner' would be a no-no wouldn't it - you'd have to 'go out for breakfast' - and how would that work in rush hour?

How totally unsociable! Fine - get fat and/or suffer health problems because you give your body tasks to do at times of day that it does not want to do them - it can't, because you're sparko and not working - quite simple really.

Sundays I have a full English - but that's very late morning, and if I went to bed and got up earlier - which I know I should do - blah blah, then for the rest of the week I'd love to have kedgiree followed by porridge. Reckon after that all I'd need for lunch would be a bowl of soup or a salad and for dinner some sardines on toast or something.
Working for yourself is great, not only can you work half days, you can choose which 12 hours!

    Re: Breakfast

I always tell everyone that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. A good breakfast will give you the energy that you require for a good start to the day.

Honey and nut mini wheatabix with some blueberrys and semi skilled milk(as my mother calls it)
    Toast with blackcurrant jam on
Glass of pink grapefruit juice and a lovely cup of tea.
