Points from the LofF Committee Meeting Sat 24 Apr 10

Just a couple of points that came out of the meeting that members should be aware of.

1. The membership form is being changed so that anyone who has served in the RWF but has been promoted into the WO's and Sgt's mess in a mess other than RWF can now become a member of the LofF, and in fact Sgt Ray Edwards 31 has already done so. If you are aware of any RWF personnel who come under this change please be kind enough to let them know, for example our very own Percy Broad.

2. Officers of the RWF may now be invited as PAYING guest's, either by request or as a guest of a LofF member. I must repeat paying guest.

3. And last but not least, there will be an AGM next year to discuss a few points that must be addressed. These points will be sent out in a newsletter with a section to be completed and sent back to me as a postal vote if you are unable to attend the 42nd Annual Reunion Dinner.

Thanks for that, he will need to go on the forum to complete the new joining form and I will send him a standing order mandate, and we will look forward to seeing him next april.

Just for clarity, ex-RWF serving soldiers who attained Senior Rank status elsewhere including The Territorial Army may now join the LOF? I hope that is the case given that the role ot the TA in recent years has become a much more proffesional one.
