Rhondda Boy
I took this out of my local paper and it is ment for all soldiers serving in Afganistan.
When you return to the rhondda
Tell them how i died,
Tell them how i was so brave,
With butties by my side,
Tell them not to cry with grief,
But remember times gone by,
Tell them it was for them,
That i laid down and died,
How i miss miss my rhondda,
The green green grass of home,
And i lay in rhondda soil,
Its hills ill forever roam. 15

im a Rhondda boy myself (Porth) now living in Berlin,
and i can say i miss the rhondda valleys.
The comunity in rhondda always looks after their boys
many of my friends joined up and sadly enough 2 good friends are buried there in our sacred soil
i visit the green green valleys every year
no place is better than home
