Wrexham
Just wanted to share some information with you all.
I've just returned from a weekend in Wrexham (Yes Gwyn...doing politics) and stayed at the RAMADA HOTEL (at my own expence).
As I walked into the hotel the sign the "Fusilier Bar" stands out infront of you.
They have some memorabillia on the wall which made me feel very proud that the RWF is very much alive in the life of the business fraternity of Wrexham.
Well Done Wrexham!

Re: Wrexham
Dear Paul,
Thank you for brining the Fusilier lounge at the Ramada Hotel to the attention of others, since my move to the Wrexham area I call at the Hotel for NAAFI brake, I find the lounge most comfortably with daily papers availably, friendly staff (some are Ex 3rd & 4th Bn RWF) Hotel is in a pleasant location with easy access and parking.
Regards
Glyn

I would never question your honesty and integrity my friend and I am fully supportive of out of pocket expenses by people working in the public sector. As you say, you stayed at the Ramada and paid out of your own pocket which I believe is correct as other hostelries such as the Wynnstay would cater for you at a cheaper rate (if the public were to pay). I hope I have not given you the idea that I am totally anti-politician as that would not be accurate. Indeed my local MP Mrs Angela Browning, was very supportive when I had a problem with some arrogant hospital administrators some years ago, and more recently when I wrote to her reference the Gurkha situation.
(she has however fallen foul of the expenses debarcle which is unfortunate)
Well done the Ramada and Wrexham, keep on supporting our lads and lasses.
