For a project i am working on i am looking to find out what insignia if any the 1st Battalion RWF would have worn on their Battle dress jackets at the time of Dunkirk the only photos i can find are distant and or wearing Greatcoats any help appreciated

I have learnt through another forum(reenactors) that unit "slip on" or metal shoulder titles would have been the only visible markings (apart from rank) on the uniform at this time during the war can anyone confirm this?

1/RWF were part of 6th Infantry Brigade, 2nd Division, at Dunkirk. The Divisional Insignia below :

As to if the men actually had this on their battledress - I would have to bow to someone with greater knowledge (or better photos)

Hi Richard 1/1 is a full size badge, 1/6 is action figure/man size , i collect action figures and kitbash them to make them more realistic by buying extra kit customizing etc i have kitbashed a few RWF figures various eras WW2, NI to OP Telic and Herrick Iwill take some pics and try to download/upload
I have found a badge on ebay which i have bought
