Re: Prince and the Plotters
I missed it, but he was Dental Corps - I knew him. I was in the RWF cadet corps of drums (Wrexham) he was an instructor (drums) another instructor (flute) was with him - guy called Alders who worked for the GPO - he got 6 years.
Near the bottom of this page
More on Google if you put in stuff like 'Jenkins and Alders investiture' etc. I can see their faces now and have never forgotten their names - after 40 years. I suppose it's because of all the police interviews we had over what they had planned - stuff like bombing the train Prince Charles would be travelling on etc. Did they ask me to do anything outside of the cadets - did I notice/hear anything odd? Etc.
Had no idea at all.
Working for yourself is great, not only can you work half days, you can choose which 12 hours!

Re: Prince and the Plotters
Thanks for the link Sharon, I was part of the street lining party from the 1st Bn.
We were aware of the activity to a certain degree but the programme gives the fuller picture, it is sad in my opinion that there are efforts for yet another inquiry into the deaths of the two from Abergele.
If you carry bombs and they go off tough, sad as it is I dont see the point after all these years.
Joe.
