    Mobile telephone directory

You may not be aware but there is now a mobile telephone directory in the U.K by calling 118 800 they can get or contact the person and let them know you want their mobile number. You can opt out of this by texting E to 118800. you will not get an acknowledgement but your number will be taken out of the directory when they update it every four weeks.

and you will be charged for the text. wait a week or so and the company will set up an 'opt out' option on their web site - which will not incur a charge - following instructions from Ofcom (the first constructive 'for the consumer' directive that Ofcom has made for many a long year)
