Hey people dont know if anyone can help with this search,
looking for pte penny(RRW) 24303042.joined the depot sep 72 he came from the Harlech area...
his dad was some thing to do with the raf?base near harlech,they used to fly drones across cardigan bay from there...

A MEMORY..
I remember going on leave from the depot,
penny said he would give me a lift home,
he had a battered old honda50.so two up +kit.
we went from the depot to builth wells,Rhayader,Llanidloes
then over the top past llyn clywedog and down to Machynlleth,
then the coast road round to Tywyn Llwyngwril and Barmouth.
It peed down with rain all the way,we were soaked to the socks.
we stoped in Rhayader for a brew and got a row for leaving a puddle of water under the table..needless to say, i used my warrent to get back after leave..

julian penny was his name, good lad , we used to go down to apergaveny, on the ****....then walk all the way back to camp... best times getting tatoos, on a friday nite.....then seeing his go all spectic!!!!!!!! lol..good old days.............................................. .............................................

You should try the RRW Vets Site Chow. I can recall him being a bit of a character, but I don't know what happened to him. Oh there is, I think some photo's of him on their Image Gallery. Though there was another couple whose surname was spelt Pennie. Someones bound to know something though butt. Anyway Good Luck. Braz
