I spotted this in yesterdays Sun:-

The Prime Minister sparked uproar yesterday by awarding an Honorary
Knighthood to Veterans US Senator Ted Kennedy.

It is a known fact that the Kennedy family used to Support our Old friend Gerry Adams and co. Their dislike of the British was also renowned. This Govt has no idea whatsoever, and the Sooner we get rid of them the better I say. Well that's my Moan for Today. Braz.

I strongly feel that there should be a seperate thread for the fantastic acheivements of the Royal Welsh award recipients. So they are not having to share a thread about a IRA supporting dodgy American politician!! Rant over!!

Three MCs and five MIDs awarded to the Royal Welsh have no place in anything to do with the "Kennedy Clan"! I will reserve my well done to the lads for elsewhere.

Gentlemen ,
Some of you guys need to get over yourselves . Honours are Honours and should be respected wherever they are documented . Personally , I don't care if they are on the back of a bog door in the Creggan . What counts is that brave guys did extraordinary deeds and should be respected in whatever medium the person paying the respect chooses . To say things like "not a fit place" "post my respects elsewhere" does not cut . Further , I do not see anyone creating a new thread for this topic , I have already admitted that I do not know how to do so !!!!!
So , in conclusion , stop moaning , create the thread , pay your respects and you should all sleep well tonight .
Gripe and moan over from me .
