    Accommodation in Cardiff

We are coming to Cardiff to watch the World Cup Qualifier between Wales and Germany on 1 April and were wondering if anyone could recommend reasonably priced bed & breakfast/hotel accommodation for two nights within reasonable distance of the Millennium Stadium. We are arriving on 31 March and leaving again on 2 April.

Any help would be much appreciated and thanks.

The wife and myself stopped at The Masons Arms, (A Toby Carvery) at 21 Tyn - y - Parc Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff which is just down the road from Maindy Barracks, and is a really good place to stay. No problem getting into town Buses run outside Hotel, or they will call you a Taxi Free. Food etc was Brilliant too. They charged something like £110 for the room, but it was for 3 nights and for the room, B and B. Evening meals are really cheap too and plentyfull. Phone Number for Central Reservatons is 0870 2430500, anyway Good Luck. Braz

Westgate Hotel , right outside the Stadium , cheap and cheerful with a good breakfast although an extra . Book early . If full , Holiday Inn 200 yards away , a little more expensive . Stayed in the Westgate last August , £60 for a double room . Hope this helps .
Wesgate now called Barcelo , sorry !

I remember exactly now, the Masons charged us £110 for the Room, for B and B. It was for the Fri/Sat night, and Sunday Night for FREE. Well value for money we thought. Braz

    Re: Accommodation in Cardiff

    Hello,
Re your enquiry for B&B in Cardiff. There is a quite reasonably priced hotel in Tyndall Street Cardiff. The prices etc ,can be raised via a search on Google. An example is when I went to the L.O.F. a room cost some thing like £40 -00p a night Breakfast was £3-00p.It is about a ten minute walk to the stadium.hope this information is of use to you. The name of the hotel is the ETAP. it is well worth a search on the internet.

    Hello,
When I first saw your request for hotels,I was a bit busy. But I have since looked in Google.com and found out that the prices I quoted were about right. I was going from memory. I have also obtained a phone number which is 029 2045 8131. maybe this will help any queries and or reservations, if you do want to make any further enquiries. have a good time in the metropolis.
    Regards Don
