"23151902 J D Miller, Cyprus 1958-59?
As I have just aquired another medal to a fusilier, outside my main theme of WWI, I wonder if anyone have some information about the man that earned ir or the campaign?
It is a General Service Medal, clasp Cyprus, named to 23151902 Fus. J. D. Miller. R.W.F
I understand it is a 1955 number, and from what I have seen the 1st battalion was in Cyprus 1958/59. Anything more than this would be new information for me.
Thanks in advance,
/Lars

Probably a National Serviceman, But it might be worth checking the Regi Records volume covering the period 45-69, in case he appears on any of the nominal roles after 1958 at a higher rank. Do you have a copy Lars?

Yes, I'm sure it is a Cyprus clasp. Note that I made a typo in the number in the header, it is 23151902.
Have not part V yet, only III and IV. Probably will get the missing parts quite soon.
