I was browsing the internet, as you do, and came across this website.
www.rwfphotos.co.uk
There are some amazing photos on this site.
Depot rugby team etc, and many many more.
Just thought I would share this with you guys.

Re: Photos
I've just been to have a look at those photos and they are amazing! Well worth a look but why are they there and not on here?

Re: Photos
They are excellent photograps.
Is there a way that the pics can be downloaded and put on the Forum?

Re: Photos
The owner of the site is Brian Collins. He is a big supporter of the Forum. He actually arranged permission from individuals for many of the pictures I included from his site in the 1950's Tribute Video. His website is included on the final credits.
Why arn't the photos on here, possibly because Brian wanted to do something he had full control over, and obviously the personal aspect relating to his fathers RWF service.
They are great pictures, and I often use them as a research tool.

It is a good site.
I thought that there would be many others that had been to the site, and I'm sure there are more sites like the one mentioned.
I know it will be more work for our moderators, but would it be too difficult to link our sites to some of the others on the web? Just a thought, so we can be one big happy family!

Re: Photos
Regards the photos on the site. They have brought me great pleasure since in the Cyprus section 1958 there are a number of photos of my father Will 72. My father was Malcolm John Williams who passed away in 1985 aged 46years. I never really had a chance to discuss his time with the Regiment.
If ther is any body who served with him I would love to hear from them. many Thanks Steve

Re: Photos
As the one who took the photo`s of `D` Coy 1RWF in 1957-9 I am quite willing if you want them in the Forum. Only problem I dont know how to do it, Am quite willing to forward the album to anyone willing to do the job as long as I get them back eventually

HI. If you right click on a photo you should be able to go to (save photo as) then place it on your hard drive to up load later.
