Captain Pugwash
Having a totally off the wall conversation with a colleague today I had my childhood dreams shattered. We ended up talkiing about the BBC cartoon "Capt Pugwash". Having grown up in the 50s & 60s I remember the programme well. I said to my colleague that I could not believe how they ever got away with naming some of the characters, Master Bates, Seaman Stains and Roger the Cabin Boy. I was then told that in fact there were no such characters in this programme, and that the characters were known as Master Mate, Tom The Cabin Boy and Pirates Barnabas and Willy. I do'nt think I will ever think of this programme quite the same again.
One thing we could not remember was the name of the Pirate Ship. Can anyone help?

Re: Captain Pugwash
Watching that clip reminds of some CQMS stores, " these are for storing not giving out." Also clothing not more exchanges.

Re: Captain Pugwash
I loved Capt PW as well, good snippet...
"Stores are for storing, If they were meant to be issued they'd be called issues"
