    N.I.V.A.

Came across a web site that some people may find interesting, It's Called

Northern Ireland Veterans Association ( N.I.V.A.)

All the RWF fallen ( NI ) have had a mention for the rememberance celebrations.

hey john. just an update,,had a good browse on the site, not bad, they have over 800 members, with quite a few regiments represented, not many many rwf though.they have a member..ken wharton who is writing his third book about the troubles in N/I and like you said is looking for info/stories and photos of the times,I invited him to join our site(which he has..user name kenny)i think we should give him all the help we can,

    Chow/John

Some RWF Forum guys have already contributed to Kens first book about the troubles. I have already posted a thread about Ken's efforts to tell our story elsewhere within the site. If you want to tell YOUR story, type it out and email to Ken. You can trust him to faithfully produce what you are trying to say. I know when we were putting together "The Fallen" how many stories appeared on the threads, some very moving, also wives and families who were also greatly affected. He wants to know what life was like for you aswell.

    Guys

Thanks for the good words about the first book. If you thought that the first was good, wait until you see the second one ('Bullets, Bombs and Cups of Tea') I promise you that it is twice as good. It will be pro-squaddie (I would have to chew my own arm off before it would be anything but) and is more detailed and better put together. I would also recommend NIVA to any one who served across the water; it is perhaps the finest organisation for people like us, other than our own regimental websites.

    Warmest best wishes
