What do you guys think of the new trend, the names of mates who've passed away tattooed on your person.
Pat's nephew was in the tanks and almost his whole platoon have the name and dates of a colleague who was killed in Iraq tattoed on their person, Carl's is on the base of his neck in calligraphic letters.

It looks quite beautiful and is a serious tribute, but I can't help thinking its location won't stand him in good stead for the job-search he's on atm.

I'm currently having laser treatment to have mine removed on both my lower arms, and trust me it hurts more to have them taken off then they did when they went on.

Whilst sat behind my desk as the RSM in Cyprus, CSM 'Cheif' Smith came to my office and said your not going to believe this. The Provo Sgt 'Joskin' Jones 77 then marched a lad up the BHQ corridor, halted him outside my office and right turned him. As he turned to the right to face me full on, half his face was tattoo'd with the wing of a pheonix (the remainder of the pheonix was on his chest). On 'questioning' he said that he was not drunk when he had it the previuos night. He was immediatly stripped of his R WELSH acoutraments and subsequently discharged. I can not remember his name.
