    lee fry

    hi guys

lee fry (ex alphas) has suffered with PTSD(post traumatic stress) since he left the army after bosina in 1995. ive been helping lee with a housing problem, but ive run up against a brick wall, and was hoping someone could point me in the direction of an organisation or maybe if anyone knows someone on the council that could put some pressure on pembrokeshire county council. the problem he's got is that the house he's in is not suitable for his current circumstance (damp in one bedroom so he cant have his kids) next to a noisy housing estate (anyone who's ever seen anyone with PTSD will know what their mental state is like, bad nerves ect). We've managed to get someone to swap with him, (the other place is very quiet), but the housing dept wont play ball. ive been in touch with ssafa but they didnt seem to want to know.

    any assistance would be great

    Re: lee fry

Sorry to put my tanners worth in here, but another case where our boys who are feeling the effects of conflicts not getting the support that they deserve. This Govt keep saying that they are helping, so why can't someone like Lee get help?

Im dissapointed with SAAFA, they should be helping Lee cause of the children.

Is PTSD a disabilitating illness? If it is, the local council as well as the County Council should be involved. The final area where help should be sort is the Local MP.
