    Re: korea 51/53

    Hello Susie.
To the best of my knowledge some 80 RWF N.S. men were posted to Korea. These men were posted to The Kings Regiment(Liverpool) and the Royal Fusiliers. I recently met two of them from Newport they weretwins and I trained them in Wrexham and all of them were rebadged to the 2 regiments they were posted to. I also believe the RWF tried to get Korea as a Battle Honour but theapplication was denied on the grounds that as a regiment they never served in Korea, and the number of men seconded from the RWF was insufficient to allow this battle honour to be awarded to the RWF. So maybe your relative was in one of these other regiments and may be difficult to trace.
    Regards RBD
