Just returned from the funeral of Karl and while it was a very sad and emotional occasion I must say it was a fitting tribute to a brave and honourable soldier. Greg and the bearers were outstanding and Bean and his men did an excellent job. The turnout was a tribute to the man and lots of people I hadn't seen for years had made an effort to attend. On a sad day like today you see the real benefit of the Royal Welch family.
