Sox,
Such a shame that you and the rest of the absentees can't make it this year mate, but everyone has their differing reasons. In regards to giving me abuse, I have tactically switched to a day shift on Friday!! This is of course so that I am fresh on Saturday, and nothing to do whatsoever with avoiding any flack on Friday evening if I were working!!
You may be interested to hear that whilst at Sid's house this evening, he looked into his mirror, and whilst stroking his hair exclaimed "LOOK AT MY HAIR SCOUSE, ALL READY FOR THE WEEKEND!!" I commented that I will get mine cut too, to which he the piped up with..."ARE YOU GONNA DYE YOURS TOO?!!" And so it begins!!!!
Memo to self....Pick up fresh notebook from work tomorrow for the blog entries to be evidenced within!!!

Re: Commrades, young old and bold
Hi All,
Being Official secretary and all that codswallop..I've been asked to pass on much good wishes to the revellers on Patty's behalf..although he phrased it differently and other descriptive words, ones not available on my keyboard were used.
So anyway, for the first time in ages, Pat's not going to the annual reunion and he's very disappointed. Next year he'll see you all with bells on (if he finds his passport that is)

Re: Commrades, young old and bold
It's always sad when people can't make it, especially dedicated people and regular Forum users. Im sure that many of the older and bolder will let you all know how the various events passed off. I give you my word that I will brief you as fully as possible on one particular part of the weekend.... The socialising!! Im sure there will be many photo's for you to look at too. Im just gutted that Al poole is away, so god knows how Im going to manage to post my photo's..............Er, Hi Bob!!!?
P.S.. Before I get slated, I am fully appreciative of the fact that the weekend is dear to many people's hearts and is not all about the pi** up!! (Yeah, right!!)
