Anyone Help
I have two videos, the first is of, HM The Queens visit to Warminster, the second is of the Tercentenary parade in Powys Castle. ( The best military parade/show I've ever seen, I was on posting to Shorncliffe at the time we had a bus up, I'd got tickets for all my family as they lived near by, they still coment on it now).
Is there anyone who could transfer them on to disc & maybe put them on the Forum as well.
I would pay any mailing charges.
(Al I forgot who you said might be able to do it, bit of a woolly head at the time)

Re: Anyone Help
That seems like a good site Chrish.
Ritchie, it would cost you £20 to get them copied on to one disc (as long as they will both fit on to a 90 min disc) or if you want them digitally enhanced to improve quality it would cost £40. Perhaps other people on the Forum would want copies and could help out by donating something when ordering a copy from you. Once you have them on disc it will be easy to burn in order to make extra copies.
Good luck.

Re: Anyone Help
I was chatting with Ritchie about this at the LOF dinner.
Ideally we would like the videos to be located on the forum server, in much the same way as the Op Banner & 50's tribute are. So that all the members can view them.
I know that Keith (senoj89 ), is able to convert them to DVD, Perhaps Bob can advise us on the most suitable format for them eventually being loaded onto the Site Server, ie mp4, divx etc
Our researchers provide their time and considerable expertise for free. However if you want to say thank-you, a donation to the up-keep of the forum would be greatly appreciated. Click here to make a donation

Re: Anyone Help
Good site Chrish
I’ve been looking for someone who could take a photo from a video, my daughter Tanya presented the Queen with the bouquet of flowers when the Bn was on parade in Chepstow for the presentation of the Colours by the Queen on the 22nd May 1996. The photographer didn’t take a picture of the moment when she handed the flowers to the Queen, I was given a copy of a video of the occasion and I am hoping to get a picture from it if possible, has it was a proud day, not just for the Bn, but myself even more, on parade and at the same time watching my daughter in her Welsh dress speaking with the Queen.
All the best regards
